Campaign Insights offers you a sharp, perceptive look into your campaign details. This valuable information will help you assess your campaign’s performance and give you hints as to what needs to be altered and changed. It will also allow you to measure your campaigns’ performance over periods of time, optimize your resources, and achieve your goals.
To Access your Campaign Insights, you need to do one of the following:
- Once you are logged in to your dashboard, press Campaigns on the left sidebar. You will have all your campaigns listed, and you can easily use the filters to find the campaign you want, ordering them by user, date, status, type, or objective. When you locate the campaign you want, you can press the arrow down and press the sign View Insights.
- On your Campaign List page, you can click on the campaign name be directed to campaign insights.
The page will display your campaign name, start and end dates, status, and money spent.
You can filter your data by campaign, adset, and time period. These are the details you can view:
- Impressions: This indicates the number of times users have seen your ads. Every time your ads are displayed and viewed by the user for 1 sec, it counts as one impression.
- Clicks: This indicates the total number of actual valid user clicks that your campaign ads have received after undergoing a fraud check by our fraud detection system.
- CTR: Clickthrough Rate indicates the percentage of individuals who see your ad (impressions) and decide to click on it. You can calculate your CTR by dividing the number of user clicks by the number of impressions.
- Video Views: This indicates the number of times your video was viewed by users for more than 5 seconds.
- Conversions: This indicates the total number of tracked events that users took on your landing pages. You can select the tracked event you want to view.
- Spent: This indicates the total budget spent on ad campaigns over a selected period.
- CPL: This indicates the amount of money charged when users complete an action on your landing page.
- Avg. CPC: This indicates the average amount of money charged per campaign ad click. You can calculate your average CPC by dividing the spent by the total number of clicks.
You can also view up to 5 of these matrices presented on a graph for a better visual representation.
You can also view your campaigns’ performance breakdown:
- Ad Sets:
- You can filter your data by conversions (any action that users take on your landing page that you have identified as valuable), or export any data you would like in multiple formats.
- You can arrange your table by ad set/ ad name, status, impressions, clicks, CTR, Avg. CPC, conversions, video views, CPL, spent, and action.
- Now you have access to new advanced data that will shed more light on your video campaigns’ performance. You can view and analyze your video views, check how many people started the video, who many viewed the first quarter, how many viewed three quarters, how many completed the video, and how many people rewatched it.
- You can edit your bid. Once you do, a confirmation message will appear to notify you if any of the websites you have chosen has a higher bid than the one you selected; in this case, you can either update your bid or remove this website from your targeted publishers.
- The toggle is a digital on/off switch used to change the state of system functionalities and preferences. The blue/red button is a toggle that allows you to change the campaign’s status or adset from delivering (blue) or not delivering-paused (red). The color assigned will reflect the action you took at the campaign level on the All Campaigns page.
- The status can also vary. To learn more as to what each one signifies, click here.
If an ad set has more than one ad, it can be marked delivering as long as one or more ads are delivering. Once you check the status of every single ad, you can see which ones are delivering, and why ones are not delivering.
- From the Actions button, you can Edit your ad set, or Add Ad.
- Once you press down the arrow on the left of the ad set’s name, the ad set details will expand to show you all the ads in this particular ad set.
The system will display your ads’ details, including their images, names, and all the data that will empower you with information to assess your campaigns’ performance at various levels to optimize your resources and achieve your goals. - You can also export all your ad set details.
2. Website:
- You can filter your data by domain, adset, and conversions (any action that users take on your landing page that you have identified as valuable), or export any data you would like in multiple formats.
- You can arrange your table by domain, impressions, clicks, CTR, Avg. CPC, actions, CPC, bid, and spent.
- If you are filtering by ad sets, you can edit the bid of each targeted website or application, as well as enable or disable any website.
3. Categories:
- You can filter your data by website, ad set, and conversions (any action that users take on your landing page that you have identified as valuable), or export any data you would like in multiple formats.
- You can arrange your table by domain, impressions, clicks, CTR, Avg. CPC, actions, CPC, bid, and spent.
- If you are filtering by ad sets, you can edit the bid of each category, as well as enable or disable any category you want.
